AS WINE BLOGS MATURE, WHAT’S THE IMPACT?

Few wine bloggers would be surprised to hear him say it. Washam uses his own blog, Hosemaster of Wine , to skewer the industry in general and wine blogs in particular. If your mouse scoots to your browser’s close box while reading a wine blog, Washam may be the blogger for you.
Washam may rip into the wine blogosphere, but Hosemaster is a sign of how mature the wine blog world has become: Hecklers don’t show up inside tiny communities. Comprehensive lists mention 500 English-language wine blogs, with 200 others in Europe. There are no doubt hundreds more. Read more:
